Position Overview - Project Manager
This role is responsible for managing all details and components of the project, leading to an efficient, cost-effective, and accurate installation and completion of the project scope. Aurum is an elite partner - this role serves as the face of the company requiring superior professionalism and tact. This role interacts with many project stakeholders including homeowners, builders, architects, other trades, etc. Efficient and accurate communication, documentation, and delegation are required strengths in order to be successful. While managing a portfolio of different projects, you will be responsible to oversee project timelines, milestones, onsite staffing, and profitability and efficiency targets. Onsite work is required to project sites resulting in hybrid local and remote/travel work.
Core Responsibilities

Outlines, plans, and prepares all project details and logistics including confirming timing/procurement of materials, scheduling field resources, documenting, and communicating project needs, collaborating with internal stakeholders to incorporate changes to original project scope

Upholds and verifies all project details meet customer expectations

Collaborates with all stakeholders to provide a consistent, reliable, and elite workflow that adheres to Aurum’s standard

Maintains current onsite schedule complete with planned resourcing needs and expected invoicing milestones for all scopes of project, using current build schedules and information from builders and trades

Determines and forecasts personnel and materials required to manage job flow - continually updating and documenting required adjustments in project tracking

Oversees and drives the process to ensure detailed and accurate measurements for all required, specialized equipment and provide to Design

Monitors and tracks the project labor and equipment budget to ensure project remains on schedule and within budget

Responsible for identifying, initiating, and following Change Order process including timely, accurate, and complete, documentation

Maintains effective, timely, and accurate project details - available to as needed for all stakeholders

Continually verifies all aspects of project for accuracy and completion throughout each stage

Completes thorough ǪA/ǪC of finished product with supporting documentation to support service handoff meeting at project completion as well as delivering System Use Manual to customer
Professional Ǫualifications

Extensive A/V industry experience backed by a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Lead Technician or Project Manager

Construction experience with knowledge and understanding of local building code for low voltage wiring and building requirements

Construction knowledge and experience - ability to read and understand wiring and architectural drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams

Must possess a strong understanding of project logistics and scheduling and A/V installation requirements

Superior attention to detail paired with excellent written and communication skills

Extensive experience with Crestron, Savant, Lutron

Must have a current, valid, and clean drivers license and driving record

Positive attitude and ability to work well with many other stakeholders
